Charlotte Sharks Paddle Group

Come out and enjoy a paddle with friends! Charlotte Sharks is a group that meets weekly to enjoy exploring our local waterways, learning about coastal creatures and their habitats, the benefits of exercise, friendships, and a huge ton of fun! We meet Friday mornings and also have special events throughout the year.

  • Community races, local clean ups, holiday paddles, island picnics, trivia days, and obstacle courses are just a few of our activities that we do on our Friday morning shenanigan days.

  • This group is comprised of persons with developmental and/or physical disabilities, volunteers, high school students and young adults volunteering while obtaining Bright Future College Scholarship credits, and paddlers that just like to meet and have some fun and friendships on a Friday morning!

  • All our welcome, boards and adaptive equipment available for any participants who do not have their own equipment.

  • This group is one of Selkie Adaptive Paddle/Selkie Ability Inc. programs that is free of charge with a focus of helping everyone get out and enjoy our beautiful local waterways together.

       Call 941-303-9758 for more information
